Re: The Surprise Package D/G
Here's what you might call a surprise package. This car was purchased new to be a race car. Originally it was a 440 auto car, but competed at our local track with various Hemi's in it. It saw everything from a Crossram to Hillbornes & competed in D/G ,C/MP & D/A while being a quarter mile warrior. It never did see the street & it's not a Charger
Like so many used up race cars, when it's claim to fame was over, it landed up in the back forty & sat from about 1977 till around 2000 when it was found by a guy.. Today it resides in a collectors garage completely restored back to factory original condition . liteweight Last edited by Liteweight; 02-27-2013 at 10:12 PM. |

Re: The Surprise Package D/G
Original Gasser Class Weight Breaks (Weight by Displacement)
A/G............0 to 8.99 B/G...........9.00 to 10.99 C/G...........11.00 to 12.99 D/G...........13.00 to 14.65 E/G............14.66 and up Not a Charger, but from 1962. Now that's a Gasser from the early-60's. I believe that hood scoop is the back of a fiberglass studio chair Last edited by Paul Ceasrine; 02-27-2013 at 11:16 PM. |
