Great photo's,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
![]() Sources tell me that there was a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II (9 Passenger) Station Wagon out of San Bernadino, California,,,,called 'Cucamunga' It was an original 383/330 HP (Automatic). In 1965, it was classed in C/SA (10.60 - 11.29 Wt/Hp). But in 1966, they campaigned another 65' Station Wagon, but the new car was a Belvedere II (6 Passenger) Station Wagon, and this car had an 'original' 426-S 'Street-Wedge' in it. It was lettered 'Cucamunga II' In 1966, it was classed in C/SA (9.50 - 10.59 Wt/Hp). And ran, 13.20's. Both cars disappeared after 1967. |

The production numbers I have on the 426-S cars do not give a breakdown for Wagons, but there were a pretty good amount of 4-door Dodges and Plymouth built with the engine.
I have a '65 Coronet 440 that was an original 426-S/automatic car. It was sold new at Bob Banning Dodge too. |

I don't know what motor this '65 Coronet started out life with...but it's been a race car most of it's life.

Hey Paul, it seems that more racers chose the '65 Dodge Coronet over the '65 Plymouth Satellite judging by the amount of old photos that I'm finding of both models.
