This was my 63 Plymouth Belvedere. Original 318 car - I was the third owner. Great street car.

Rick Racer,

Nice 1963.........

Torque-Flite or Manual

The 318, was a 'Durable Street Bulldog'.

That looks like the Exterior Color.......Code XX-1 (Medium Biege).

The car was a pushbutton and I left it that way when I plugged in the 440. That is the original color. Car was bought new in Detroit - only had 28,000 miles on it when I got it. I sold it in 2004 - wish I still had it.

Rick Racer,,,,,,

Looks Great with the Max-Wedge Scoop, and perfectly-style wheels.

Can only wonder, why Mopar didn't offer the 383/343 HP 'Dual-Quad'
'Solid Camshaft' '300-J Cylinder Head' in the 1963 (Savoy, Belvedere, Fury or Sport Fury).

1963 Plymouth Sport Fury

Production Numbers;

* 318 {2-Barrel}........................................... .......7836
* 361/265 HP 'Commando 361'......................3370
* 383/330 HP 'Golden Commando 383'.........3831
* 426 'Max-Wedge'............................................ ..186

Plymouth built '18' 383/343 HP 'Dual-Quad' 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury cars, for Regional Office Managers.

The 383/343HP 'Dual-Quad' was 'not' available to the public for 1963, and only 'selected' Regional Zone Managers
received this specially built cars.

Rico,

I'll see if I can dig up the 'specifications' for the dozen or so Plymouth
Sport Fury cars that were specially prepped for the Regional Zone Managers.

Mark Taylor has an original, which has been restored.

Black, with Red Interior.

It came through with special exhaust piping, and a performance modifed 727 Torque-Flite,
to go with the Solid Camshaft, 11.0 - 1 Compression 383 Engine, with 300-J Cylinder Heads and
an In-Line Dual-Carb set up, and 3.91 Factory Gears.

"Super Golden Commando 383'
