So far looks like we have a fair amount of good interest in the series. I figured where we are located the series will not effect Ted's Series or Kenny's Series up in Canada / Eastern New York and take away from their car counts. I would never start a series that would throw a monkey wrench into other series and take away from their car counts. This also gives 10.90 racers something else to do when not running divisionals and the 1 or 2 National Events a year they are at.
What I'm looking at is a TRUE .500 pro tree, No Min Weight, All cars must have roofs and working doors. Same entry fee's as MASGA & MASCA per race ($70.00) plus gate fees and $70.00 for membership to run for the year end points program. Like I said all in the works as of right now and if I have someone who would like to come on board and help out that would be even better. I've pretty much turned the driving duties over to my Dad for all the MASGA Races so I can focus on the Super Comp Series / 90 Nationals and make them successful. |

Count me in Bob. I'm hoping to be back in action in Super Street for the Dutch Classic and be full time in 2013. I've alway's thought it would be a great idea to include Super Street. I was hooked after the MASGA race I ran in 2010, before my forced hiatus. hope the plans work out. I spent a good amount of time at Cacil County talking it up!

Dave,
It will be good to see you back out there. How's the car coming along after the crash...all fixed or did you have to buy a new one? I must say after the responses on Class Racer, E-Mails & Facebook that MASSA (The Mid Atlantic Super Street Association) will be alive and kicking for the 2013 season. For all those guys and gals who have attended a MASGA Race here and got hooked but, just couldn't run 9.90 now is your chance to finally shine. I mean where can you go to run 2 Super Street Races in 1 weekend and have a Awesome BBQ on Saturday Night and not have your pockets empty when you go home. Mr. Michael Beard is currently working on the logo and should have it in a few weeks or so. As far as a schedule goes...well that will come in time as I have to wait for the National & Divisional schedules to be set and then try to get with the track owners to see what they have available. So look for some info in the next few months and I will hopefully be at E-Town on Sunday to talk it up with some of the S/St Racers. Rob |

Thanx for the concern Rob! Unfortunately the Firebird was to far gone, the chassis wasn't all that bad, that would have been fixable. The costly part was that it would have had to been completely re-bodied including tin work. So the the new ride will be a '69 Camaro all steel bodied (except) hood with a 4 link and a big block. A little heavier than what I'm used to, but it should get the job done. I am looking forward to getting back out there and will be awaiting further news on the MASSA schedule. See you at the races!

Jim
All the events will be held with the MASGA Guys. I run the Super Comp Series and run all our events w/ the MASGA Crew except for 1 this year. Next year is a different story as everything will be together to make 1 BIG .90 Super Series. Rob |
