it is a low tension oil ring package,and the instructions where to use a 400 grit hone gmonde

I'm not a big fan of gapless rings for street/strip use. I believe the top ring is too efficient so the 2nd ring can't do its job unless the the crankcase is under vacuum. I'm freshening up my motor this winter and my thought of using gapless rings again have been benched. I'll still use a Total Seal rings though, just not gapless.
