BODY IN WHITE UPDATE!!!!
We appreciate your inquiries regarding our body-in-white (BIW) program. Unfortunately our 2010 program has been slightly delayed. While we still plan to have pricing shortly the likelihood of having kits ready for pickup in time to complete a car for the 2010 season is slim. Currently we are expecting to have kits including interior and exterior trim available November or December. In the meantime I encourage any interested parties to look into a 2005-2009 body starting from a donor Mustang. I have seen these cars, especially those with salvage titles, going for very reasonable prices. We have a limited number of 2009 BIW available for sale with a suggested retail of $3200. These can be ordered via this form. http://www.fordracingparts.com/downl...n_20090722.pdf Additionally any customer purchasing a BIW is eligible to purchase our trim kit from the road race program that includes glass, exterior trim and fasteners, dash, assorted interior trim, and some small additional parts to help build the car. The biggest lacking area will be some of the interior trim. These kits will be sold to those BIW customers for $1995. Depending on what you plan to make your 2009 BIW look like we offer many of the Cobra Jet items both for performance and looks. Take a look at: http://www.fordracingparts.com/mustang/herocard10.asp For any small Mustang parts, or even whole salvage cars I encourage you to visit http://mpsautosalvage.com/sunshop/ . They specialize in Mustang parts at reasonable prices. See you at Indy! We are targeting a Wednesday night dinner. Details to come in the next few weeks! Thank you for your support of the Ford brand and your enthusiasm for the Cobra Jet as well as our parts program. I hope this helps answer some of the questions you have. -Jesse

The Vegas town hall will take place Thursday night at the Tasca hospitality area. The time is tentatively set for 7pm.
Both myself and Brian will be in attendance and we are working dilligently to get our new 2010 Cobra Jet there. This will be the first public viewing of a complete car! We will be without our Funny Car drivers as they have another obligation at the Vegas Fan Fest. I'll post more details next week. Expect to get an email from NHRA next week as well for all racers that are registered for the event. Look forward to meeting you! -Jesse

Kershaw, glad to see that you are at work today, do you have any more details pertaining to your 2010 Mustang body in white kits? And another thing- why is the cut off date for ordering these cars November 15th? Thanks, Jimmy.

Jim,
We have the order deadline because we need to know in advance what to order from the plant. This is our way of keeping costs down and passing that savings on to the racer. If we inventoried the kits cost would increase significantly. Here is an added information sheet that should help clear up some of the questions around the Mustang Competition Kits. ![]()

With the recent promotion (?) of Brian Wolfe have we lost a supporter? Brian understood the "class racer" and appeared to be on a path to give us (Ford Racers) the tools and support to compete
