Just bought a 68 camaro off a friend. it is his old bracket car, he bought a dragster.
I am going to build a 350 for this car, and even though it is a bracket car i would like some of your suggestions, i am amazed at what class racers can do with the rules you have to run under., and how hard the cars leave I am going to run 10:1 compression RPM intake Edelbrock RPM heads 1 5/8 headers going run either a 750HP or 950HP will be running 28x10 slicks will be getting a 8" convertor I am looking to shift around 6200/6300 1/8th mile only my questions are: what gear should i run what duration and lsa cam should i run thinking either hydraulic or solid flat tappet no rollers what convertor and how much stall was kinda trying to approach this car like a I/J car. I see I/J novas running 7.20/7.30 in the 1/8th with rather impressive wheelstands on the internet all the time. would like this car to leave/run like that Any suggestions or ideas appreciated. |
