2007 Indy Sportsman Videos
Here are parts 1 and 2 of the video I shot. These first two happen to be of the first round of Super Stock class eliminations.
More will be forthcoming soon, and I will post a bunch more as I get the time as I have at least 2 or 3 more tapes worth of video that I shot. It takes about an hour just to upload each of these videos, and that doesn't count my time to get them from tape to my PC, to edit the various clips together, or the rendering time). Anyway enjoy. Hopefully these will make the winter go a little faster...

Nice video Jason.Maybe ESPN360 can hire you to do their NHRA online broadcasts.Or they could at least see the way you shot the sportsman racing. They obviously need help in that dept.Goes to show you how they easily could show the sportsman racing on their programs.
Again,nice video.Thanks for sharing. Ed F.

Re: 2007 Indy Sportsman Videos
Hey guys, thanks for the compliments. I'm glad you enjoyed them. Too bad YouTube doesn't allow true HD video, as the quality on YouTube doesn't exactly do these videos justice. Of course, it would probably take 3 days to upload each 10 minute video...
I will say that I wish I had a slightly better vantage point when I shot these videos. I was in the Top Eliminator Club, which was OK, but I would have rather been 100 feet in FRONT of the starting line rather than 100 feet behind. But, I was still relatively happy with the way they turned out. More to come....though I don't think I have much of anything from 2008. If I do though, I'll be sure to get those up there too. Maybe I have a future in drag racing videography....

Re: 2007 Indy Sportsman Videos
I use the Canon HV20 (HD) camcorder, and I'm using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum to put the movie clips together. I tried a bunch of them (Roxio, Adobe, to name a couple), buy Sony Vegas is by far the best. It's the easiest to use, and so far I haven't had it crash on me, nor have I found any bugs. So, its highly recommended.
As for videos of stock, maybe - I haven't even got through my first tape yet. If I have them, I'll post them...it will just take time...
