Default mopar superstock only casting # 4532287

This casting is listed on the NHRA's 1970 listing for big block heads casting #'s.

D = 2843906, 3462346, 3751213, 4006452, 3769902, 3769975, 4120187, 4532287(SS ONLY)

Anyone know if this is the old PN for the stage 5 head?

Thanks

Yes, and they are still available if MP is still there.

Jeff
Is there any advantage to the MP heads over say a 906 after being worked to the SS volume limits other than you are starting with new castings?

Don't know about the 287's, but I have a set of 2402286 with a 1-1-7 date code (assume that is Jan 1 1967)in the shop to freshen up for a customer. No doubt about it...They are a Max Wedge.

After calling the MP tech line, I can confirm that yes 287 is the casting #

Kevin said that it has been used for 5 part # s over the years

Current part # P4529993

Which lead to the final question for the head guys, can you install smaller valves?

4529993 stage V for 2.14 intake and 1.81 exhaust,

The discontinued 4529992 was for the 2.08/1.74
