I'm not sure if a 29.5 will fit. I know a 29 tall Goodyear is tight without any mods to the quarter. It will be closer in the front than the rear.

The 30 X 9 Hoosier radial with 92.5 rollout fits well. A bit tight on stock fenderwells but it will fit properly. Since there is almost no growth on radials, don't let the snug fit fool you. It appears tight at the front of the fenderwell (as previously mentioned) but it works well on every '69 Camaro I've seen. I run them on my 69 Stocker with no problems.
There are two different models numbers. One has a 94" rollout the other is 92.5". Buy the shorter tire and I think you'll be satisfied. I also prefer the C07 compound for longevity. The harder compound lasts longer and since I'm running a lower HP car (small block combo) the tire works well. Some of the high horsepower big blocks probably run the softer compound. |
