Hey Rich........ I know you said nevermind, but I would like to know which way your reaction times went bad......... I was .009 and .010 for my S/G time shots......... when I hit 2nd round, I put another nickel in the box and came up -.006.......... I didn't think I was that pumped up

This is where a Vehicle reaction timer can help. It doesn't tell you everything, but (at least with the computech model) you get the time from button to the vehicle reaching 0.8g's, about 8 inches for most cars. run to run, that can be valuable data when something goes wrong, and it's much more precise than just taking the 60' time.

I realize without a baseline, it won't help you now, but it might be worth it in the future.

Bruce, I had one of those at one time in my last dragster. I did not find the number it spit out to be very meaningfull. I have experienced poor .400 tree RT's in the past and tires was the cause on more than one occasion. One year in S/G at the Summernationals...my RT's faded to .08's...two in a row but I was lucky enough to still win.....immediately bought fresh tires and had them mounted...next run .409.......lost with a .420 something...thanks to NHRA...they messed with the starting line and scraped it a ways out.....cost me a chance at winning two years in a row as I spun a bit after the hit......

K&R Chris....Bracket raced today....RT's all good. 60's all within .01 on 4 runs....4th run.....trans broke!! I'm guessing input shaft....maybe that had something to do with my string of poor RT's after rd 1 at MG....today.....501 .509 .515 524....Swapped tires side to side before todays race and this was in 4000 ft air......whew thats hot!
