Edward Matsgo passes ?.

Longtime D-1 Modified/Superstock competitor Ed Matsko passed away June 27th. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Isabel. She never missed a race and watched him make every run down the track. He raced a 58 Chevy Impala forever AND then a 69 Camaro. Both cars were named Chevy A Go Go !!!!!! Ed was OLD SCHOOL and used to wind her tight ….GODSPEED !!!!! …

Ed was a good friend and loved racing. His 69 Camaro was a show quality piece and always got a lot of attention. His wife Isabel would always get in the car in the pits and warm it up for Ed. Fun to watch, RIP Ed.

I remember seeing his Camaro a few times....
It sure did sound good ,Ed had a lot of numbers on his tach and used ALL of them...

Very sorry to hear this news about Ed. Met him 35 years ago at Columbus. Very helpful and polite racer for sure. Rest in peace. Bobby and Nancy Rashid.
