Just thought I'd follow up, my friend's box isn't fixed. Doing the same thing as before. If he installs a high side chip the ignition will go to rev limit no matter what chip he installs. No chip in that spot no problems which is what it did before. So $200 and he still has the problem.

I know this is an old thread but there is a guy on the Bullet that is repairing MSD ignitions. He says he can also repair Grids. I haven't done business with him just passing on his info because I know there are many here who have needed work done.
