Default Ultimate Converter Concepts out of business?

Reason I’m asking is I haven’t been able to contact them after repeated calls.
I purchased a 7” converter from them in Nov 2023 for $2000.00 and when I went to install it the pilot hub was not welded on and I found it laying in the box.
Return it to them and now am unable to reach anybody.

Anybody have any ideas, hope everything is all right, Lenny and Dawn were great to do business with, but since they sold to Montgomery (new owner), feel like I might have made a mistake, hope I’m wrong.

Appreciate it
RJ

They moved to a different address after Lenny and Dawn sold it a few years ago.
But who knows, I appreciate it.

I have always felt the same, but spending 2 grand for a non-functioning converter over 6 months ago, sending it back and no word for over a month, makes me wonder.
If anyone knows some way of contacting him I would sure appreciate it. I have left several messages on his business number and his cell.
Hope he?s ok and is just preoccupied.

You can PM me through Class Racer.

Thanks in advance

RJ just got my convertor back on 6/20 . they had it about a month. A little hard to get to answer phone. Best time Montgomery said was 9-10 in morning. I left some messages and he did call me back.

Just talked to Montgomery @ UCC, simple mistake of losing track of my converter, he was upset with the situation and could not have been more apologetic about what happened.
Told him that no apology was necessary just needed to be contacted on what was going on and again he agreed completely.
He still is my Converter Guy, and I will not hesitate to use him and recommend his business.

Hi Guys, haven't been on since I retired and thought I should post. RJ, I am also sorry about this situation and dealing with you in the past know that you are a standup guy. I consult with Montgomery almost everyday about all things he needs help and questions on. I am not making any excuses for not being on top of customer calls and not being timely getting back, this is a must to take care of every customer. Customer service is paramount.
This being said, the business is doing extremely well and he is a little overwhelmed, but as time goes on he will he will find his way with a couple of good employees and more experience in the business, but always the same as we always did, customer service always comes first! I hope all the Class Racers are doing well and having fun.
PS- David Lee, as far as you trying to finding the business, try Google earth at 234b Pineland Drive- Andrews , SC

It's near impossible to find good help, especially for something like a torque converter business, I have a friend who runs one on his own, other than having his wife deliver occasionally. I wish him luck in hiring.
