When you doing all this have a blowby meter hook up to it. When we had our B-Dragster you could spin the starter and if the float moved in the tube there was blowby!

Longer than care to remember. These is one is been the worst. I have had it apart 4 times hone it each time with the same results. The engine seem to leak fairly well 2.5 to 3.7 warm. Ran 10.64 at 128.00 |

Leak down will only tell what?s going on at the top of the cylinder. Another easy test is when doing leak down is rock the piston at TDC let it go to BDC and pull the piston up with leak down tester still attached watch the meter as you pull up to TDC it takes a ratchet with extra long handle.
