So that's 490-500hp....that's impressive for a non roller gt40 headed 351! (also the first 351w that I've seen make any power with "stock" heads, lol)

Actually made in the 420's on the dyno.

We don't use calculators, we use dyno's and time sheets. LOL

Unless you run at a DA of zero or negative then you are racing with (less) uncorrected HP.


I do have those 1 line calculators that produce those high HP numbers, they make people feel good about the engine they built. But if you run a good computer program which simulates your run the HP and et / MPH match up pretty good.

Let me just add, Larry Meaux's ETA is a great program for analyzing time slips if anyone is interested in this kind of software.
