Hypertech selected the SF890 chassis dyno for easy of setup and repeatability. The 42” knurled rolls provide superior traction with minimal tire deflection for accurate and repeatable testing. Hypertech relocated to a new facility with limited space. This dyno is a duplicate to the SF in operation. Prior to the move, this unit was operating properly with no issues. The SF890 series is capable of supporting speeds of 200 MPH and 1000 HP.

The maximum axle weight is approximately 10,000 pounds, the track width range is from 28” to 86”, and wheel base range can be adjusted between 98” and 149”. The flexibility allows for a full range of vehicle testing. Both RWD and AWD vehicles can be tested. The 890 series chassis dyno includes a center-mounted eddy brake for steady state testing, which can support unlimited HP during acceleration tests, and roughly 1600 HP when using eddy current motors as load.

View in real-time torque/horsepower output, at steady and changing speeds. To instantly evaluate changes made to the engine fuel or timing maps. The Superflow Windyn Software can be operated using a laptop for in vehicle tuning or from a tuning station.
