Do not use Wix filters I have had numerous collapse all have sent to Wix, Rep came to my home picked up the filters ,to be shipped Wix to be analyzed ,they were shipped back to me sent me, and sent me letter there was nothing wrong, just one small thing I cut all the filters apart before the Rep arrived to show him how the filters had collapsed before he took them he told me because I cut them apart there was little Wix could do , one could see it had collapsed with little or no oil flow Zero

Purchased 2 Wix filters last year,# 51040. when they arrived 1 was made in USA and the other made in China ! We use Wix on a fleet I work on and more of the filters are coming made in China. Look at what all the crate motors and Copos come with. Delco Blue. The Wix XP have more pressure drop across the filter. Just an observation.

Note this list says "majority made in the US"
All I can say is read the box yourself. https://tiremeetsroad.com/2021/12/21...united-states/ https://www.machinerylubrication.com...ose-oil-filter

Never had a Wix filter failure on any vehicle that we have used from gas to diesel engines. These are trucks, RVs, street cars, and race cars, but we don't run street filters on our race cars either. We only use the "R" code Wix filters for our race cars.
There is a difference. |
