I need to lower the front end. It’s a P/sa car so light front end. What is the best option to get the front end where it needs to go?
I am new at this so go easy on me. |

Aftermarket springs and shocks with threaded body is the easiest way to adjust ride height.

If that were legal in stock eliminator lol, 96 camaro has struts so there is NO legal way to do that. Best way is to get a front end weight and call Santuff. They will give you the best shot of correct height with correct weight transfer on the 1st try.

A coil spring change might be enough to correctly lower the car. Be aware that if a drastic amount needs to done to get the proper ride height an alignment will also be necessary. Have the toe in / toe out checked, and camber change and bump steer investigated as well. If you have access to a good front end specialist, I would also consult with one of them. Good luck with your endeavors, and stay "Straight"! Respectfully, Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA |

Can you post a picture of what is legal on a 4th gen F body? Because apparently my car is illegal.

those camaro's have a coil over type shock. You can go with the afco shock or get some from Randy Mans. With the V6 I would start with a 125 # spring. Happen to have some if you go that route. They were too light for the LT1

I would be interested in the springs. The 125 is what I was thinking.

I think you’re confusing an 82-92 Camaro Firebird with a front strut, to a 93 to 02 which comes with a factory Coilover shock. It is indeed legal to use that shock.
