I don't think that is right. Correct me if I am wrong guys. Not sure if 3160 gets rounded up to 3165 or not.
car plus round up weight of driver to nearest car without weight 5 pounds 250 lb driver D 9.5 multiplied by 299 plus 170 3010.5 3015 2765 E 10 multiplied by 299 plus 170 3160 3160 2910 F 10.5 multiplied by 299 plus 170 3309.5 3310 3060

that did not show up right on the post
first weight is "car plus driver weight", second "weight is rounded up to the nearest 5 pounds" this is race weight third column is the "weight of the car without a 250lb driver" sorry Ray

You always round down for weight. Example: 3164 is 3160

I’ll look again but in the example that NHRA gave with the Mustang I didn’t see anything about roundup weight even if it’s only 5 pounds. I won’t be that close, I’m figuring 20 over just to be safe.

When you fill out your tech card you need to know the exact minimum weight or you can get disqualified. That's the reason for getting it correct.
