If running a single inlet Holley carb for super stock can the fuel bowls be converted to a dual inlet?

And if the carb came with a metering plate in the rear bowl you can't convert it to a metering block.

I am pretty sure that you dont have to run the exact carb number any longer in SS. As long as it is the correct type carb and measures properly it is legal. Best to check with your tech director and get a clarification

But there ARE metering plates that utilize normal holley jets

I know that metering blocks use a jet and if the carb didn't come with one on rear bowl it will DQ the car, I witnessed the car that this happened to at US National's this year in SS.

I did say "plate", not block. It's common practice, if you have the right parts
