I think you'll need to speak at great length to a competent camshaft grinder that understands "restricted race engine" breathing. With a class car we have certain limitations built in like compression, valve size, rod length. So working with your Cam grinder and cylinder head / intake manifold specialist you should be able to come up with a reasonable combination. I don't think you'll set the record but should run under the index and that will make you competitive. A good 2 bbl. carburetor builder that knows how to correct the cluster for a good all around fuel curve is also in order here. Good luck on your combination, just remember " if it was easy, everyone else would be able to do it.
