So, that means that the '73 GTO that Mick Leiferman raced was indeed SD455 powered, but did not come from the factory that way.

Just found this one.

It's a '74 T/A, which is said to have had 455SD power, running F/SA, @ this '79 Canadian Molson Grandnational race.

I suppose it's the only Pontiac Stocker I've ever seen with a big #1 on the door.

If I have, I don't remember the answer.

I have this picture labeled " '61 Unknown".

Can some of you older guys tell me this guy's name ?

Here's a couple of pics that were just posted, of a Bird I've never seen.

Has Ridge Runner Auto Centers on the door. Looks to be a '74 T/A, which was running E/SA. I assume that means it was SD455 powered.

On the rear windshield is written: "Car in Tow". I assume that means they pulled it to & from the track with a tow bar. Been there & done that.
