Re: How Much Is "Kill"?
So if you go 1 second under at a mine shaft race is the 1 second counted as a hit for the review of your combo. I never thought it was but recently someone told me it was? BP

Re: How Much Is "Kill"?
Definitely not at -1.00 to -1.199 but -1.20 or faster and you still get HP even with mineshaft and I don't think Stock will see a mineshaft again anywhere except maybe Indy National, maybe.

Re: How Much Is "Kill"?
Glen I would rather not say. He is not an NHRA official and is another racer. If my memory serves me correctly I had only gone 1 second under at mineshaft races. I was also told by a racer that races my combo at Cecil County he had talked to someone in California. That person told them unless the averages changed it looked like our combo would be getting HP. If you read the AHFS rules it says any runs in mine shaft conditions won't count towards the average runs. It doesn't say that the 1 under runs won't count towards a trigger for the combo. If anyone knows for FACT please chime in. I always thought it didn't but I'm not sure the way it reads. BP

Re: How Much Is "Kill"?
Mineshaft means the runs don’t count.
Neither does a 1 second under run count to the average or trigger. 120 under run does count.

Re: How Much Is "Kill"?
When a race goes “Mineshaft “ the 1.20 under still is in affect, but other than that it becomes a ServPro race. “Like it never ever happened” no runs count for the average.

Re: How Much Is "Kill"?
With the new update to the mineshaft rule going from .85 to .95 under, that is basically going to eliminate the chance of it being in effect. I don’t think we will ever see a top half of a qualifier sheet at 95+ under. Let’s see if this causes more reviews and adjustments
