I don't think I can use these unless I use a longer stud. I have open ended nuts . The end of the stud is flush with the end of the nut,

Where did you order the inserts from? I lost one recently and haven’t found a supplier…probably just not looking for the right part.

I got mine from a supplier in Pennsylvania many years ago .He advertised in Joni’s race shop in National Dragster. Maybe Larry Hodge would know ? My flat nuts came from ARP ….
