If you don't plug the hole below the thermostat then coolant will just circulate within the engine and wont go through the radiator . Like most small blocks , if you get the
engine cool ,below 140 F , on the starting line , it will make more power . |

Dan,
You are going from PS, to K/SA correct,? If so, just go to the electric water pump and you can then control the temp ny just leaving it off as you warm it up. I don’t know where those engine like to be heat wise but I would be surprised if the like to be over 140 at any time. Maybe someone will add that info. When do you expect to be out?
