How did you have to run a Q/ car for class? I know that nhra sometimes has a brain Fart, but that match-up needs a WHOLE ROLL.

The Fords and Buckners are parked right across from us, so we will congratulate them for you in the morning.
Just got back from a great meal of shrimp and crawfish at Landry's in Pierre Part.
Really good.

They postponed the crawfish boil til tomorrow. Suppose to get bad weather tonight, but hope it bypasses us. Just in case, we already have the awning in.

We get a time trial tomorrow before the cic race.

More tomorrow.

We were both on a single, they just ran us together. That car FLYS! He set the Q record and was invited to the barn where he passed with flying colors! George is a good fella and he lurks on here to. I took it easy. the engine is weak. Gotta save it. Jim

Boy, I think we have more comics on here than racers. Anyway, thanks Mr. Wahl, 4405, and 4340 for your coments and help over this weekend. Also congrats to Ryan Becnel on winning class and qualifing in the top 10. I'm glad I could recieve my first Wally on the same day as you recieved yours.

Sorry I haven't posted all day, but I have been watching racing. And I thought DRC was posting about the cic race. But since they didn't, it was a great race to watch.
Buckner lost .27 in the 1st round, Paula Cotten lost a transmission, Bob Dennis lost .36, Johns .19( and his competition broke at the starting line), SS truck lost .12, Jeremy Duncan lost .02 and Slate Cummings lost .02, and a SS Emmons lost .09.

2nd round Duzac lost .18, Adkinson .04, Duncan .05, Dennis .06.
And Roussel who had gone -1.26 redlighted.

Sorry but I missed the 3rd round when I went back to the motorhome to fix us a drink.

4th round: Buckner beat Ford, Cummings beat Penrod ?, Stewart beat South.

5th round: Buckner had the bye. Cummings beat Stewart

Finals: Cummings beat Buckner after Buckner treed him, but then David went from 1st to 3rd gear.

It was really fun to watch.

I didn't see the results of the hemi shoot-out up so I will tell you that Westcott, Jr. beat Raines in the final. Charley went a 8.51.

We just got back from the crawfish boil and boy were they good. I went prepared with my roll of paper towels and my bowl of sauce to dip them in. Thanks again to the Teutons and Southland Dodge and the Laris's and the rest of the sponsors for a great meal and time.

Oh we saw Gary Emmons a while ago and he got a big laugh out of the post about him. He said what really happened is he looked up and thought he saw his win light on, so he let out to protect his combination. He said he got to the et booth and they gave him the yellow slip and he said "no, he needed the white one". And she told him "No baby, you lost". Now that's funny.

Well we run after Super Street in the morning. Probably around 9:30. The temperature has really dropped tonite, so it should be interesting in the morning.

We got lots of rain and wind last night, but nothing damaging. This morning it is still very cloudy, but not raining. They are still drying the track. The big King of the Bayou race starts out for the super categories. Stock and superstock will get a time trial around noon that does not count for qualifying, then the cic race starts. Then the hemi shootout. Should be a fun day. Then the crawfish boil.

Roussell and Duzac were invited to the barn for teardown yesterday. Jim says that the truck passed and I assume Duzac did, too since I haven't heard anything to the contrary.

Does anybody know what time the NCAA basketball tournament comes on today? I haven't seen a newspaper in a while. I guess we will be cheering for Memphis since all the Kentucky teams are gone.
