John Livingston retires
After his win last fall at the National Open in Commerce and Terry Earwood’s win in John’s for sale Mopar wagon John has decided to retire! Well not entirely, he is putting Trey Payne in the seat of the Thunder Camarillo and support the rest of us! The 1977 IHRA Sportsman Racer of the Year has supported and helped an untold number of racers over the years and is very highly regarded by anyone that has every raced with him. John promises to be there and support all of his friends! I know our cooler will be open for Tennessee Thunder!

Re: John Livingston retires
We ran at Reynolds a few weeks back and to me being a relative newbie to class racing compared to people like John it was an honor to get to race him. John I wish you well.

Re: John Livingston retires
Races John at SGMP this year and what a class act. Sorry to see he is stepping out of the drivers seat but excited for Trey to take over that ride.

Re: John Livingston retires
I owned a Orange and Yellow Jet boat that was named Tennessee Thunder.
Was owned before Me by Woody Martin in Texas. Did John ever race boats?

John has retired from racing numerous times. I look forward to seeing him and Charlie return to the track. John Livingston is a true LEGEND ….
