Virginia Police Officers pepper spray and handcuff an Army 2nd Lieutenant. This was all because the Lt. supposedly did not have a rear license plat, which he did. Before stopping he pulled into a well lit gas station to be safe. I hope these two asshat cops are prosecuted for escalating a situation that could have been handled without the senseless use of force. Their actions make it tougher for all the cops doing it right.

Eddie, are you saying that when you were making a traffic stop and the driver didn't comply by pulling over, and you couldn't see into the vehicle because of dark tinted windows, all SUVs have them, You wouldn't be least little suspicious of what might be going on inside of that vehicle. I thought LE was trained to be suspicious

I get the “suspicious” part, I don’t get the over-reaction. If I were in uniform would I get same treatment, I seriously doubt it. Did you hear the officer say at some point, “why didn’t you stop?”. A reasonable man would have accepted a reasonable answer and moved on to the reason for the Lt. being stopped. The over-reaction was unnecessary and you know it.

After killing 9 people and a 16 hour chase, Charleston shooting suspect Dylann Storm Roof got a free meal from police on his way to jail. They went to Burger King....privilege?

You made that up. They did not take him to Burger King on the way to jail.

From Shelby Police Chief Jeff Ledford’s account "With the department’s phone ringing nonstop in the background, the young suspect with the bowl-cut hair was locked away in a second-floor conference room with an officer watching over him.

“Organized chaos,” Ledford later called it. “Because there were so many moving parts.”

Including feeding the unexpected arrestee.

“He hadn’t eaten, they said, in a couple of days,” [Pastor Strickland] Maddox said. “They bought him a hamburger. They just sent out for it. I guess one of the police officers went and picked it up.”

Ledford confirmed that this purchase was made.

“He did have something to eat while he was there, and he was secured in cuffs the entire time,” the chief said."

My question is why did not other people that died when law enforcement put their knee on their neck, got the same attention?

Same type of event in Edmonton, Canada...

Never said they took him to Burger King, Police brought Dylann Roof some Burger King after he had murdered 9 Black people, George Floyd was accused of forgery.

It is fivoulous and irrelevant that he got a burger. That he was allowed to purchase firearms is relevent. His initial application was put on hold by the ATF for further investigation. BY LAW the ATF/FBI have 3 days from the inital application to deny the purchase. The firearm dealer did NOT recieve a denial from the ATF within 3 days and by law is required to make the sale. This sad and tragic incident was preventable if not for another failure of the federal government.

Will more gun control laws make a difference when the existing ones are ignored???
