1969 Mustang C/SA National record holder 11.60 @ 115 mph, fresh motor/trans can
run C or D will run under C/SA index anywhere. $4900.

These guys are/were from my neck of the woods. Larry Whitley has an AMX IHRA crate motor stocker and "Tricky Mickey" McGlawhorn passed away several years ago. Mickey was quite the character. If you have the August 69 issue of Car Craft, check out the "Who's Who in Junior Stock" article. Mickey's name comes up several times.

Thats some pretty cool stuff.It really makes you wonder what people will be saying in 20 years frrom now.I can just hear it now : "Wow man,a GT/AA cobalt for 95,000,what a steal!'.I guess the grass is still always greener on the other side/past.

I still remember going to Lions drag strip on a Sat night when I was a teenager,
got to drive my moms 1960 Impala 4dr, 348, black w/red interior and watching.

I guess that is where I aquired this sickness called "drag race fever".
