I don't want to take travel out of the suspension. Does anyone have a solution that they are willing to share?
Mike, give a call to Howe Racing at (989) 435-7080.

They have different length ball joint studs for that ball joint assembly. The studs on those ball joints are replaceable.

The part number for those ball joints is Howe P/N 22426. They have 11 different studs for that ball joint.

I have enclosed the link to the catalog and go to Page 5.

Thanks.
I think part of the problem is that the ball joint cup is out of round and not allowing the stud to fully seat. Might of been damaged in assembly or I damaged it by letting the wheel hang. I will call Howe tomorrow.
