We gonna' need it. That engine in lower right of this debris field is still stuck. You can see the last rod sticking up. But I think we have enough parts to get one running. Thses things are a hoot. Every 50 miles you stop and oil the rockers, no cam bearings and the oil pump fills troughs that the rods with a tang roll thru for splash. One odometer reads 61k miles!!!! Uncle Jed

The stuff in the pan could be cylinder block material where the rings plateaued the cylinder walls, just a guess. |

All rod and main bearings had a 100thou spacer and one rod had one little brass shim left. She is wore out. Babbit still there so may mic and polish crank, repour rods etc and buy a shim kit from The Filling Station, clean it up, hone, ring. Chiity Chitty Bang Bang
I learned the cranks bend easy so they suggest spin it in a lathe and check runout. If bent, pry it back straight and roll on. Uncle Jed |

A place called Egge machine use to have parts for those engines. I my memory serves me correctly they had connecting rods that were converted for inserts. I took a restoration class in the 70s and toured there facility. .
