Great story Jeff. Things like your story is another reason class racing is so much fun.

I hope more stories and more pictures can be shared.

Yes it is, and was built for Super Stock by Wes Leopold Sr.

Hopefully Wes Jr. will provide more detail.

I believe that Bill & Pete Kost's Olds is a no VIN tag car also.

That's right. I talked to Jan and Art Peterson, back in January. Art purchased the 69 GTO(now SS/JA), new and drove it on their Honeymoon, as well. They got a kick out of hearing about Larry Jewell's Corvette. Great people.

My Dad's 66 Nova II SS L79, his cousin bought it new in 66, 327/350hp, 4 speed with 4.11 rear, and was originally marina blue with matching interior. My dad bought it from him when he turned 16 in 71 and drove in high school and did some street racing, and then started racing it and built it into a stocker and then a super stocker.

He eventually stopped racing when he started his own business and didnt have the time so my grandfather started racing it, he took the 350hp engine out to change the class and put in a powerglide. Eventually he built a GT car out of an 80's camaro and sold the Nova because he wasn't using it without talking to my dad about it.

The car is now owned by and still raced by Sean Gaffney who put a stick back in it and the 350hp engine.

Frank Yes my Road Runner is a real A12 car. It was originally green on green.

Blue on Blue is the perfect color combo on these!
