This car in SS/HA 1973 What engine and carbs? 4bbl or 6bbl? Seems to low of a class for a hemi. 1751 Joe Umbra on the window. Tell us what you know. Thanks in advance!

The NHRA file only shows a 71 Road Runner, no GTX listed.
But, for 1973, SS/HA=9.50 lb//hp The Road Runner 440-6v/385hp meets this class with W/P=9.63 So that's my guess The Hemi was always factored way above its 425hp rating (ROTFLMAO) so depending on factoring would likely be in the SS/EA=8.00 class. Still lots of power in 1971 but everybody's cars were heavy except the Duster. |
