In addition to everything you say, there is also no First Amendment right to say whatever you want without consequence.

Re: NHRA and the "Bo Butner rule"?
I really doubt there are many democrats attending or racing at any NHRA events. Its the democrats that want to eliminate racing and the use of the types of fuels we burn in our race cars. NHRA should be firmly behind the republican party if they have any idea what is good for them. Unfortunately NHRA headquarters is located in the land of fruits and nuts. So who knows where the political views lye. Sad time for our country these days.

Why do I think images of Che Guevara, Karl Marx, Abimael Guzmán and Fidel Castro would be just fine?

Re: NHRA and the "Bo Butner rule"?
At the recently run LODRS/Sportsnationals double at New England Dragway, there were many campaign signs and flags displayed and at least one car with a large candidates sign on the door. Thought it was just a display of one of our freedoms.
I do understand it is their sandbox, but I think they would be better served to just let it go

Re: NHRA and the "Bo Butner rule"?
I'm happy about Bo Butner's message but being that's it's in the rule book's General Regulations it in violation of the rule.
Does NASCAR have the same rule, I don't think so as I seem to remember a car four years ago with a "Make America Great Again" graphics. |

Re: NHRA and the "Bo Butner rule"?
