Glad you enjoyed it but with all the bad weather you really didn't get to see but about 1/2 of our normal show. Plus there was about 15 cars that either had to leave or just couldn't come on Sunday. All in all it did turn out pretty good and we had a really good race.
We will be back next year for sure, made the deal before we left.Video should be out by the first of next week.

Compared to three years ago, these race cars have become more sophisticated, faster and obviously more expensive.
Also, some of these guys can really drive.

Southeast Gassers brought their gear banging action to the hill aka Paradise Dragstrip in Calhoun, Ga.
September 8th 2018. Although I was there to photograph the event, I managed to capture some video too.
The clips I shot in the pits are early in the day before some SEGA members arrived.

Let's see.....do I spend a lot of $$$$ (and time) building my own leaf spring only setup or bolt on a set of traction bars like they ran in 1967.
Makes perfect sense to me.

Herb McCandless won Indy in 1970 with a Hemi 4 Speed with Super Stock springs going 9.90, car went as fast as 9.70 with a 404 Hemi and a 4 speed. Why put a smart *** post up when you had no plans of running it anyway.

Ronnie went 9.48 with Super Stock springs no ladder bars or traction bars in 1971.
