Harrington button in place of brake light switch. Adjust it far enough that you have to be on the brakes really hard to trigger it

The factory brake light switch on F body GM cars like mine are also adjustable, a tad over an inch of adjustability.

A lot of guys are using a double adjustable pressure switch. They're easily identifiable just buy looking at them. It allows you to set the two step pressure to come on, then using a lower pressure for the release. You can actually slightly adjust a "time-delay" to help with your reaction times, A little testing, and you'll really like it …..
