I know this isn't work. But when it comes to discipline, it's similar. When we have an employee issue that requires action, particularly when it is someone who isn't liked by someone else, the discipline is mostly kept between the supervisor/manager and the employee. Nobody else is entitled to know what the results were. It never fails...later, someone will say that nothing ever happens to this guy and nothing was done about this time and that. It's like they want every detail about what happened and what was done. And frankly, they want to be in charge of what is done. It simply doesn't, and shouldn't, work that way. Should all of a person's dirty laundry and what happens behind closed doors be public knowledge? I believe in transparency. But there are limits to it.

When person who uses his car as a weapon!
When that same person threatens another person face to face !
When this person has a history of cranky behavior!

Yes, the community needs to know!

I just read on another forum that a super comp racer was torn down and found to be cheating, anybody know the facts?

Tex is a jerk. Tex acted like a jerk. Tex deserved to have his teeth knocked out, but that couldn't happen given the NHRA backdrop and age disparity. Tex has consequences to deal with, and no matter how big of a dick he is, I'd have to assume he's pretty embarrassed.

Let's put a fork in this and move along...

Dan, you should be dang proud of your son. He took the lumps in a no win situation and held his composure. I had a similar situation from a mother of a child I coached in little league. I just stood and took it and was not my fault. Its stings for a bit but it will pass. I would hope my kid would handle it as well as Thomas did. Kids reflect their parents and looks like you raised a great young man.

. I hear ya Bucky, but consider this....As Dan said it’s no ones business, I can respect that but.....Usually a incident like this is spread by word of mouth and gets twisted up after being repeated numerous times and the end result is not even remotely close to what really happened.....Facts are facts and the truth is the truth....I have to commend Thomas for not loosing his cool and adjusting Mr. Millers attitude...Well done young man....

How in the hell do you cheat in S/C, S/G, or S/ST other than using something like a "Matty Box" or a down track stutter box ?

Sorry Dan, but people have to know about what he has doing for more than 30 years that I've known him. Some things don't change and people need to know about him before he does it to them.

OK.....I just thought that knowing how resourceful you racers are that someone had found a new and improved way to cheat ! Other than weight I guess that the matty box and a down track stutter are about the only way to cheat in the super classes. When "Tear down" was mentioned I naturally thought something else was new.
