Default New Stock Replacement Head Buyer Beware

Just looked at the Dart 10021070 heads today for my combo and the runner volumes are so LARGE that there is no way that you can make them right, sucks to waste that money when they are advertised at Dart as 165/65 runners( my mistake)

Could it be they just "look too large" as numerous sites including Dart,Summit and Jegs list them as 165/65 ? They suggest a Fel Pro 1204 or OEM intake gasket for use with these.

Those numbers are supposed to be C.C. volume measured with a Burette and alcohol. NOT air flow !

I looked this part number up at Dart and it's an Iron Eagle SBC head. Dart's flow numbers are 210 intake/138 exhaust. In what way is this too big? Honest question from a Ford guy.

To my understanding, flow numbers mean nothing with respect to Tech!!
If you have 168 CC intake and 62 CC ex. you are good to go.
CFM is a different animal.
