I'm intrigued. What FWD conversion chassis, with the lack of firewall relief for any Mopar RWD conversions, does a V10 fit in? Bellhousing adapter wise I though the V10 was the same bolt pattern as a small block but a little research it appears same as the Cummins instead.

Depends what year motor you are looking at. The 488 bolt pattern will fit a 727 Early Diesel T/Flite I have two cases for that combo. Also depends how you plan on starting it. The later DP with the 513 motor has an an adapter for a GM Glide or T350 and both have different starting methods. Calll me @ 985-804-6161. I have a Viper with a t/f here that is for sale, and I had another. And can probably help you. Jeff Teuton or email jefft@southlanddodge.com

According to the 2018 NHRA Rulebook in the SS/GT Section 12B page 12 under ENGINE: The first sentence reads...
" V8 only; must be same make as body." That means a V10 is not currently allowed to run in SS/GT. This is not a new rule as people wanting to run a V6 in SS/GT in the past have been told they cannot. |

Oh, okay. So if the guide doesn't say A (automatic) only, you can run a manual trans.?
No question?
