There might be one or two 300 hp Stockers out there , but that doesn't help you much with a 383.

All I know is it's worth a bunch over a real 283 intake.

Does the carb have to be stone stock, or NHRA Stock?
Mark, thanks. It can be an NHRA Stock carb. I was gonna try to run a 409 400 hp AFB carb as it's bigger then the 327 carb

Why not a 780 or 850 cfm Holley? Both are carbs listed for NHRA Stock engines.

It would be for a 1962 or 1963 327 300h.p. combo. Can't run a Holley. Has to be an AFB with the 459 intake.

Run a large AFB like the one that came on a 67 440 GTX, it has the small airhorn so it will look stock and yet flow at least 100 CFM more than a 409 AFB.
