Yes, totally- sorry for the boring exercise in mental masturbation with all of the documentation questions, but Ii figured this forum was my best chance at clearing the matter up.
...and I agree- I like the change of direction of topics! |

I have always heard and thought that the O was definitely a ZERO! Also the MSO for my car has LS23 on it, but it is a factory typo as the rest of the paperwork says L023 as well as the Mr. Norms paperwork. My car will be at the upcoming Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals at my swap spot at D44-D47 so I can see if anyone on the east coast area has pictures of my car when it was first raced by Richard Shipley as the Poison Dart. He was from Baltimore, MD and only raced it at the east coast tracks. Here is a picture when Joe DeSantis owned and raced it, and it has vinyl top moldings on it and it still does!

My car also had a pro stock style hood scoop on it at one time, so that makes me wonder about the picture earlier with the roll cage and fire extinguisher and the pro stock hood!

If you size increase the Poison Dart picture you can see the vinyl top moldings there also.

You may know all this,
Richard sold this Dart to Sam Pannuty (I was their that night) who may have sold to DeSantis. Someone posed a copy of the add that was in National Dragster when Sam had it for sale . Think I have a copy of the post in my files. Also were you able to connect with Richard's son for more pictures and info.. |
