I was able to remove the complete wiring harness without cutting it. It weighs 26 lbs, 11 oz.

My 2012 doesn't have a key to open the trunk, I bought this kit to add one, had to drill a hole, and make room for the lock cylinder. It works great.

The lock kit looks handy. I made mine with parts from Menards. Don't forget the CJ faux gas cap.

I was gonna to make something also, this was pretty easy using the kit. .....the faux gas cap is all I am missing (body wise) not sure if there any are left
