Maybe limit entry to say only cars from Divisions 4-5-6-7 first ----if it does not fill up then let any racers from any division the chance to enter until it is full make the "quotas" realistic too--- OR--- ALL run first round til you get to a 64 car field---good or bad idea?? FED 387

Don racing with no penalty is called a National Open. Go as fast as you want.
We do it 3 times a year in D1.

Let me know how the conversation goes, Don.

NHRA would rather have the place half empty.

What if...
NHRA made it special (yeah, I'm dreaming), special one- off Wally (crystal?), a special Sportsman only dragster, TV like D-3TV, top end interviews

Entry fees like high $ bracket races, have to give NHRA a big cut to agree to this, maybe $1000 to enter, (not bad in my opinion given $50-$100k plus cars)....winner take all

Be creative on schedule, use NHRA event for qualifying, run regular NHRA EVENT, then bring the field out late late night, Sat or Sunday, round robin, or......gotta go take some meds
