I didn't know Jerry, but I always looked for his name on the qualifying results because he was a true to the Competition Eliminator model and admired by his peers.

Very Sad News, condolences to Cheri, Jeff, & Scott.
Jerry was a Great Racer, Innovator, and a True Champion. I would guess that he and Leo are doing some bench racing. If my memory serves me correct He and Leo both belonged to the Semper Fi Fraternity. RIP Gary Merrick 3522 Stock |

Jerry was a friend to every racer and a pleasure to talk to. He did a lot of cylinder heads for a lot of racers, especially in the West Michigan area, myself included. He will be missed.
