Just got done wrenching.
Took a drive around the pits. Alex, DF/S 14.07, 95 something BJ, U/SA 12.95 ! T Auger lowered his I/SA record some. Bobby D, 9.90 something Everybody okay so far.. We get a shot to back it up lower in the morning. 13.99? We'll see.

Lots of new paint on some of the cars, Angelo Phillips has a beautiful rasberry (he says red) paint and everything coated, some beautiful cars from Canada and Div. 1 and 5. Many cars going for records in their class, but most of all...... the racers were appreciated for showing up !! It was the first time I've been to Tucson in about 5-6 years, and within the first 2 hours, I was thanked for coming to the race about 4-5 times. I was thanked all weekend, and was thanked and hoped I come again as I was leaving. Very much appreciated.

I stumbled around the NHRA web site and was unable to find the listing for the altitude corrections at Tucson....... Maybe it's a secret that Tucson is an NHRA track????????????? If anybody knows the location on the NHRA site could you let know........ Thanx, Bob
