So I'm trying to figure why I lost 3 to 5 mph. Plugs are black that usually are a nice brown. carb is not dumping and my AF meter says super rich. Drop some jets no change. Could the coil not be putting out enough power. I just tested it with meter. Its a digital 6 box with a Blaster HVC ll 8253 coil. It had .07 ohms across primary terminals and .739k ohms from positive terminal to coil post.

I have had the HVC II coils (Red and Blue) malfunction sometimes without
any warning. I would try to borrow a Blue one from someone and try it a pass. Even when bad........They check OK at MSD trailer but MPH falls off 5 sometimes more!
