The weather bureau is calling for 39 degrees Friday night for Gainesville, that's really cold for the area. I was planning on going and it's not the weather, but kidney stones are putting me on hold. I may have to withdraw from the Gator Nats if I'm not cleared from the doctor. I have a stent holding my kidney open right now and hopefully get that removed tomorrow. I really wanted to go to the LODRS race this weekend.

Yesterday was test and tune. Merc and Keener worked late into the night getting things sorted out. East coast Camaro broke ring and pinion. Perrone changed fuels. Rampy made a few hits. Skillman's crew was busy most of the day. It was transmission day at the Southland Dodge camp with an extra one from Mike Bryant. Art's group left Bowling Green a day early to miss the weather and arrived safely. The Country Dog, Cooter and J Allen are due to arrive this morning. Bo and crew are here up from Bradenton. None of the triplets have been seen here.

Ok phew! You freaked me out for a second. There are actually 8 hemi cars currently registered for the Gators, there were 9 but Stephen Hebert had to back out for a conflicting date. I think they are using these races as a warm up for the "chootout".
