Default Re: Master Cly Install Help

Tom, Roger Lamb did my entire brake system and furnished straight fittings for his master cylinder. During assembly I decided that banjo fittings would be more suitable and was able to purchase those from Jerry Bickel but I'm certain that either type fittings would be available from most full service chassis shops. Roger Lamb's instructions were to connect the front brakes to the outlet nearest the mounting flange (rear) and the rear brakes to the forward most fitting. Although I do have to say that I have seen several high-end cars with the brake connections in the opposite configuration (front-to-front/rear-to-rear). In support of Lamb, I can truly say that his products have been literally plug-and-play; not a single problem or adjustment required.

I don't know the answer to your install with 1/4" line on the rear, my lines are 3/16 both front and rear; that might make a call to Lamb worthwhile. Hope this helps.
