Thinking about building a C3 Corvette. I have no particular year in mind. I have looked at the possible rear end options and like the AutoFab 68-82 Corvette Solid Rear Axle Conversion Kit (C3 4-Link). My question is, what year Corvette would make the Best all around Drag Race car with a 10 to 12 inch rear tire. I'm not looking to do a total back half. Kinda like a stocker build in some ways. Are all Vettes created equal as far as aerodynamics and weights goes. Want to build like car as light as possible using the stock body parts. What is the typical weight on a striped down Corvette SB and a BB with a Turbo 350.
Thanks for looking, I'm open to all suggestions |

Don't ever build one. Buy one turn key or as a roller.

Check out www.corvetteforum.com
Lots of great classified ads with many complete cars and rollers at a fraction of the build cost as mentioned above. Scott |
